Celebrities Were Divided Over The Scotland News

By now you've heard: After a long and arduous campaign that spanned two years, Scotland voted "no" for independence. Reactions, off course, were varied.

"The people of Scotland have spoken and it is a clear result," said British Prime Minister David Cameron. "They've kept our country of four nations together, and like millions of other people, I am delighted."

Others were not as pleased that a union formed in 1707 would remain in tact. "We've had an enormous democratic debate, it has moved the country forward in a tremendous way," said Scotland's Finance Minister John Swinney, who seemed mindful of what the future holds for his country. "It has made Scotland a much more self confident country and, as a consequence, all of us who live in Scotland will have to work out where we go from here."

Celebrities were also quick to comment on the news, many of them with personal ties to Scotland. Some were elated the U.K. would remain united, while others seemed less enthused. Here, a roundup of how some boldface names reacted on Twitter.
