Taylor Swift’s adding yet another award to her arsenal. But, this one has nothing to do with number one hits, singing about her exes, or even making tons of money. Instead, the Grammy-winning musician is finally getting recognized for a totally different skill set: her unique ability to leave the gym looking flawless, and her talent for transforming cats (both real-life and sartorial) into fashion accessories.
In other words, say hello to the latest recipient of People magazine's Best Dressed of the Year award. The 24-year-old joins fellow style stars Emma Stone, Blake Lively, Lupita Nyong’o, Rihanna, and Emma Watson, who've all nabbed the award in recent years for their jaw-dropping outfits.
Not that we really needed anyone to confirm that Swift has been nailing it in the wardrobe department lately, though. This is a girl who single-handedly convinced us to add a matching set to our summer uniform, surprised us all when she traded full-skirted dresses for slinky gowns on the red carpet, and chopped her trademark golden locks into a short bob — in front of a crowd of people, no less. She’s showing a risk-taking attitude we never even knew she had, and it’s clearly paying off, live-cat accessorizing and all.
