In other huge circle of life news, Scarlett Johansson gave birth to a baby girl in her hometown of New York this past Saturday. Born Rose Dorothy Dauriac, the child is the first for the 29-year-old actress and her fiancé, Romain Dauriac. (Please note: Rose and Dorothy are names of two Golden Girls. Coincidence? We think not.)

"Mother and daughter are doing well," her reps told the Associated Press. Earlier reports were circulating that she had a boy because she was seen buying blue clothes, but ScarJo doesn't prescribe to gender normative color coordination. Take that, Hollywood journalism!

Johansson has been dating the Parisian journalist since November 2012, after they were introduced by their mutual tattoo artist. She can be seen next reprising her role as Black Widow, when Avengers: Age of Ultron smashes every record ever next summer.
