Cara Delevingne & Kate Moss Are About To Break The Internet

They say sex sells. And, if that's the case, Burberry is aiming to start a buying frenzy over its new My Burberry fragrance, which features a naked Cara Delevingne alongside an equally unclothed Kate Moss.
When we got our first peek of the dynamic duo on set for the Mario Testino-shot campaign, things were looking pretty tame, with both of the modeling icons inconspicuously clad in the fashion house's signature trench. These newly unveiled images, however, paint a different picture — namely one where nude Cara and Kate get cozy as they take shelter from the rain.
We're not quite sure what this scenario has to do with the My Burberry scent — a sweet pea, freesia, bergamot, rose, and patchouli perfume created by master nose Francis Kurkdjian — but then, we're not really sure what a naked and semi-submerged Cara has to do with Tom Ford Black Orchid, either (other than looking breathtakingly gorgeous and provocative). Such is fragrance advertising.
According to Burberry, the new scent is inspired by the brand's iconic trench. “My Burberry is the true embodiment of our brand, in scent, in design, and in attitude," says chief creative and chief executive officer Christopher Bailey. "A fragrance that takes its lead from the iconic Burberry trench has to be outstanding in every way.” Adds Delevingne: "I really like the My Burberry fragrance. It’s so fresh and uplifting and also very elegant."

No diva attitudes here — looks like these two managed to get along swimmingly on set. We wonder if Cara gleaned any tips from veteran Kate between shots. Oh, to be a fly on the wall for that conversation...

Burberry says the scent "captures the fragrance of a London garden after the rain." What, your rain-drenched London garden doesn't have Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne huddling naked in it? Weird.

Each bottle of My Burberry — the name is a playful reference to many people's nickname for their trench — has a hand-tied ribbon (made from gabardine) and a horn-effect cap, to signify the trench coat's fabric and buttons.

Today, the scent goes on sale officially at Burberry, Sephora, and major department stores. The brand is also offering a monogram service on its website, allowing customers to put up to three initials on their My Burberry bottle — in case you're feeling possessive.

Burberry My Burberry, $72-$125, available at Burberry.
