What's New On Netflix In September? We've Got You Covered

We recently told you about the endless amount of must-see movies coming out this fall. With awards season just around the corner, studios are rolling out their heavy-hitters. In other words, start stuffing your piggy banks, because going to the movies ain't cheap.
Fortunately, for those of you who want to get a jump on Christmas saving, Netflix is rolling out a ton of new content in September.
If you're still feeling nostalgic over the passing of Robin Williams, catch the late actor in Good Morning, Vietnam, in which he plays a disc jockey in Saigon. It was the first time audiences saw Williams blend his skills as a manic comedian with his dramatic gifts, and it's the film that turned him into a bona fide movie star.
If you could use something cold and dark, check out A Simple Plan. This highly underrated thriller from Sam Raimi is about a group of brothers who are torn apart when they discover a bag of illicit money in the wintery woods. It's a stark and chilling piece of filmmaking that too often goes ignored. Don't sleep on it.
Lastly, if you've been wondering where queen-of-the-summer Michelle Rodriguez got her start, here's your chance to find out. Girlfight is a coming-of-age boxing film that features Rodriguez as an against-all-odds amateur fighter. It's proof that before she became a tabloid queen, homegirl could actually, you know...act.
