The New Coach Collection Is HERE — Earlier Than Expected

Ever since we previewed the line in February, we've been waiting to get our paws on Coach's fall collection under newly appointed creative director Stuart Vevers. And, rightfully so. The iconic heritage brand has changed dramatically this year. After taking a look into the archives of the most classic handbag silhouettes and reinterpreting them with moto-esque elements and updated hardware, along with a fresh approach to apparel (most noteworthy, outerwear), Vevers somehow transformed Coach from your mom's favorite label to a total cool-girl staple. So, naturally, we want it all.
Initially, we thought we'd have to wait until September 12 to get in on this new collection. But Net-A-Porter just released a select offering of a few of the key styles to shop right now. Take a look here, or click through to peep the items our fashion editors are adding to their carts. And, check back next month when the full collection becomes available.

"Red is my new neutral for fall, and I love the piping detail on this preppy bomber. I'd wear it with my favorite pleated skirt for a cool school-girl-grows-up inspired outfit." — Naomi Nevitt, shopping and market director

"While I generally tend to invest in handbags that are season-less and can be worn anytime of the year, I'm pretty obsessed with the rich, cozy shearling on Coach's new Rhyder shoulder bag. It's big enough for storing all the random junk that accumulates in my everyday carryall, but looks cool and sleek — not sloppy — once you toss it over your shoulder. And, while this pick is certainly a bit more statement-making with its fuzzy facade, it still has that timeless, classic, Coach appeal that makes buying each of its handbags feel like a sartorial rite of passage." — Gina Marinelli, associate fashion features editor

"Sure, this sweater is technically women's, but I have no problem throwing it on as a man with distressed jeans and blasting off into fall. Yes, I just went there, don't judge me." — Bobby Schuessler, senior market editor

"Call me nuts, but a leather miniskirt is a staple in my book. This scooped mini comes in a substantial, heavy-weight leather, which makes it the perfect cold-weather skirt that I'd wear with everything from fisherman sweaters and varsity jackets to pretty blouses and heels." — Connie Wang, style director

"A classic white button down is a staple every girl should have in their closet (in fact, I'd recommend at least three!). This one fulfills the idea of a basic piece, but the small ties at the button holes make it a bit richer and more special." — Emily Holland, styling director

"Not too high, not too short, that's what I look for in a boot. I'm the footwear goldilocks, if you will. And, these are the perfect height to suit my needs (and any jeans)." — Annie Georgia Greenberg, senior style editor

"A big, wooly parka is an absolute, fall must-have. And, even better when it cleverly updates the grandpa-ish Buffalo plaid with gigantic, houndstooth check. Just looking at this coat makes me want to bundle up, head to Central Park, and kick some leaves." — Leeann Duggan, style features editor

"This clutch will make anything I'm wearing this fall seem instantly cooler." — Rachel Besser, fashion assistant

“I’m of the opinion that a woman can never, ever have too many coats. Though, truth be told, I’m in dire need of a new black one for fall. This Coach double-breasted trench covers all my sartorial bases — it’s the perfect color but there’s absolutely nothing basic about it.” — Ellen Hoffman, editorial assistant
