The New (Random) Instagram Trend You Have To See

The no-makeup selfie trend has been on our radar and Instagram feeds a whole lot lately. Celebrities have been putting down their concealer and mascara and picking up, well, nothing, and we're damn proud. But, the latest beauty Instagram fad has arrived and, well, it might give #nomakeupselfie a run for its money.
Once upon a time, the #MakeupTransformation hashtag on Instagram and Twitter displayed everyday women's dramatic before-and-after makeup looks. Lately, though, BuzzFeed points out that girls and boys alike have taken it over with ridiculous (read: hilarious) transformations of their own. Celebrities typically serve as the inspiration for the makeovers, and people not only use makeup to pull off their final looks but also props from time to time. Oh, and some really ingenious facial expressions are involved. Here, creativity is key.

Plus, some of them are actually really good (see above). Either way, it's making us really excited for Halloween.

Nailed it.
