If you've been lucky enough to dine there, then you know how accurate that statement is. The YouTube clip entitled "Final Dessert at Alinea" just might change your perceptions of this expensive, exclusive, and formal restaurant. In it, a band of servers fastidiously spreads sauces and crumbles around the entire surface of the table before cracking open two chocolate spheres filled with goodies right in front of the entranced diners' eyes.
Messy? Sure — but that's just the type of imaginative (and delicious) creativity people from around the world are seeking when they make a coveted reservation here.
