Chapman cleans up pretty well, doesn't she?

Taylor Schilling, who plays embattled inmate Piper Chapman on Orange Is The New Black, is taking a glam turn with her July cover for Allure. Though she sticks with the orange color palette in her stunning shoot with Carter Smith, the actress' retro waves and bold lipstick are a far cry from her on-set appearance. Morello would be so proud.
"We do almost nothing," Schilling said of her "totally liberating" role. "A little bit of concealer and a bit of foundation, and maybe a touch of something dark around the eyes, so it will look like there are circles...If it's a bad day in prison, we ugly up the hair a bit. I get a lot of goop going in my hair so it will look greasy...Or, I just won't take a shower."

According to Schilling, those naked prison showers are "the scariest" thing she's ever done. She's also proud of the show for its diverse casting.

"When we walk down the street, we see a huge variety of women, and that's just not usually reflected in entertainment — and yet this show does that," she told the magazine.
Roll on Season 3!
