The Cannes Film Festival is a time to celebrate the industry's best and brightest — and, of course, for celebs to pull out all the stops on one of the most star-studded red carpets around. But, in the festival's history, perhaps no actor or actress has gone to such great lengths to impress as Elena Lenina.

Though extensive online searches turned up little information on Lenina, the Internet seems to agree that she's a Russian television "personality" who once starred on a reality show. Her clothing is wild; her makeup is, uh, not of the #wokeuplikethis variety; and her hair — we can't even put it into words. In fact, Lenina arrived at Cannes both this year and last year sporting gravity-defying 'dos we can barely wrap our minds around. Was it a hairstylist or an engineer who finagled these lofty looks?

So, we rounded up six of Lenina's most striking hairstyles as seen on the red carpet at Cannes. Love 'em, hate 'em, or can't even believe 'em — either way, you gotta admit Lenina most definitely gets an A for effort.
