See This & You May Never Look At Disney The Same

Yes, there was once a time in our lives when we decided which Disney character was our favorite based on her dress. (Don't judge — we grew to be fashion people after all.) For instance, Belle had the best use of color in her bright, gold gown, but Aurora's dress was made by fairies. It was never an easy choice.
While most things have changed between the time of VHS versions of Snow White and now, we'll admit we're still passing judgment on the fictitious wardrobes of storybook characters. But, in our defense, they've seriously stepped it up.
In a series of drawings by the artist Sashiiko-Anti, a DeviantArt member, the old Disney gang has received a high-fashion makeover with outfits that could easily be seen on the runways of any major city. Aurora's once-flowy frock looks like it could have stepped right out of a Rodarte campaign, Belle's yellow number could have been dreamed up by Alber Elbaz, and Gaston has trimmed down his bulging muscles to fit into a jacket that we'd easily confuse with Balmain. Let's just say it's a genius move on the artist's part, but we suspect we may never be able to watch a Disney flick the same way again — that is, even if we could get our old VCR to work these days.
