What, you thought crimped hair was gone forever when they cancelled Boy Meets World? Think again. We've been keeping an eye on musician Annie Clark's locks ever since she dyed them lavender, and this latest iteration solidifies her role as a trendsetter. The indie darling (a.k.a St. Vincent) showed up at last night's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony with super-crimped hair. The throwback look added a tough rocker-chic vibe to her typically sweet style.

Clark's wild side-parted strands are so voluminous they're almost floating around her head. This is perfect for bleached-out 'dos, since dry locks hold texture well — one of the perks of having damaged hair. (Hey, gotta look on the bright side, right?)

Also worth noting: Annie's Debbie Harry eye makeup is punk-glam perfection. The trendiest blue-eyeshadow shape this season is a solid block of color, so seeing this old-school, smoky eye is definitely a treat. Hopefully, Clark's edgy streak will continue — perhaps she could transform that rosy hue around her part into a punchier pink?
