Leaving any whip-cream bras or fast-food à la Moschino at home, Katy's ensemble for the Museum of Contemporary Art gala was a bit more toned down — on the surface, at least. Instead of going for in-your-face kind of frills, her black Versace Collection number came with a shocking under layer that flashed a little or a lot color, depending on the angle. With a simple addition of neon yellow and a unique take on the high-low hem, Katy's look is daring, modern, sexy, but far from campy. And, because a flash of the right hue can make all the difference between just alright and amazing, she picked a Louboutin heel with a red PVC detail. All this and a perfectly blunt bob, to boot? We don't need a protractor to measure how rad Katy's geometric and different-from-every-angle look is.
