Miley Cyrus has covered everything from "Hey Ya!" to "Jolene" recently. Now, she gets a chance to sit back and listen as another artist takes on one of her biggest hits.
Fortunately for us (but maybe not so much for Miss Cyrus), the group who decided to try their own version of "Wrecking Ball" was none other than the Dixie Chicks. We're talking power pipes, a bit of country twang, and zero twerking. In other words, these Texas girls owned it.
Watch the video below to see the Chicks bring down the house with this cover during a concert in London earlier this month. (Side note: Natalie Maines is sporting her own shaved style these days, too.) If you can live without seeing a butt-naked Cyrus swinging from a wrecking ball, you might even say it trumps the original.
Don't worry, Miley. Having one of the best girl groups on the planet sing your song is the ultimate compliment. Maybe return the favor and take on "Cowboy Take Me Away"? (Jezebel)
