Photo: Franck Leguet/REX USA.Jared Leto has earned a lot of good will in Hollywood and beyond recently, after picking up nearly every acting award out there, while changing the male hair game forever. But, with his comments in a recent interview with Access Hollywood, the newly minted Oscar winner is in danger of destroying all that in one fell swoop.
Up to now, no one of any real prominence has dared say a negative thing about Jennifer Lawrence, because she's the film industry's savior and the rest of the world's universal best friend. Save for a few dark corners of the Internet, where a J Lawr backlash has been quietly simmering, she's been virtually untouchable.

Until now.
When Lawrence walked on stage at Sunday's Academy Awards to hand out the Best Actor trophy, you'll recall she looked into the audience, and said "What are you laughing at?" to someone off screen. Apparently that someone was Leto, who explained exactly what happened to Billy Bush. "She said, ‘What are you laughing at?’ What she didn’t know was that Ellen was on the side…making, pantomiming [motions like], ‘Don’t fall, don’t fall,’ and my mom and my brother are all cracking up. I guess we don’t have any manners. You can take them out of Louisiana but you can’t take Louisiana out of them, right?”
And, if you think Leto seemed a bit perturbed by the public callout based on that, wait until you get a load of what he said when Bush asked the actor what he thought of Lawrence's consecutive Oscar falls. "You know, I’m starting to wonder if this is a bit of an act.”
