This survey of 7,000 men and women suggests that people are looking for something a whole lot simpler — and with technology playing a bigger role than ever before. Fifteen percent of women said they wanted some form of technological device to be used in the proposal, and of that 15 percent, 40 percent stated that social media would be their preferred method of proposal. Is romance dead, people? Only 6 percent thought a poem or song should be included, too.
