Just when we thought that our obsession with Downton Abbey took first prize, the Internet comes and blows our minds.
The Guardian
brought our attention to a painting collection of cats and dogs depicted as our favorite period drama characters. Think Daisy Mason as a chihuahua and John Bates as a pit bull terrier.
The assemblage is aptly named "Houndton Tabby," which is so adorable, we almost want to blub (that's a DA reference for cry, whine, or blubber). So, if you have any fans on your holiday gift list this year, you can purchase the paintings on the artist's Etsy site, Toadbriar.
