Gap’s Cool, New T-Shirts Aren’t What You’d Expect From The Brand

You know Gap for solid, fail-proof basics that won't ever let you down. But, when it comes to hard-edged products that have a Kanye West-for-Givenchy vibe? Well, we don't plan on seeing those hanging next to the cable knits. However, when art magazine Visionaire gets involved, it's hard to expect the ordinary.
With their second collaboration in 11 years, the Visionaire and Gap teams have created an exclusive collection of T-shirts titled "Miami 5." Just 300 of each design are available, and the shirts will only be sold through Gap's flagships in Miami and New York, The Webster Miami, and V-Files in NYC starting this week at Art Basel. The artists represented include Yoko Ono, Inez & Vinoodh, Craig McDean, Solve Sundsbo, and Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari, who also contributed to the current issue of Visionaire 63 "FOREVER." Didn't get an opportunity to score one of the shirts? More limited-edition styles will be released through the collaboration in 2014. Check out the five up for sale ahead in the slideshow.
