Okay, you'll have to excuse your humble assistant beauty editor for crossing the bridge into the shopping world, but exceptions must be made for Black Friday (and, full disclosure, she is married to the founder of this company. But, stay with us here!). Izola has been in cahoots with Refinery29 for what feels like eons now — it was part of last year's Tinseltown extravaganza — so, this year, the lifestyle company is offering a special deal for R29 readers only, in honor of its new collaboration with Ruffian.
Specializing in dressing elegantly badass ladies, Ruffian has brought a new injection of old-world, cheeky style to the utilitarian-chic homewares line with a collection of three catchall trays and four stainless-steel flasks. And, featuring vintage silhouettes, punk safety pins, and regal crowns, the products are as stylish as they are useful. Neil Rasmus, Izola's founder and CEO, says that the pairing between Izola and designers Claude Morais and Brian Wolk resulted in some major brainstorming (and possibly some drinking). "During our creative process, Claude and I discovered a mutual appreciation for a good bar — and a good martini! — so, we found it fitting to collaborate on the flask and ashtray-style catchall. The style of the catchall was inspired by Bar Hemingway at the Ritz in Paris, and the Ruffian design helps take the Parisian vibe even further."
In honor of Black Friday, Izola is offering first dibs on the collection to R29 readers — plus, an exclusive discount of 25% off your full order (enter the code R29IZOLA at checkout). Click through to peep the entire collection!
