It’s handbags at dawn, people - Victoria and David Beckham have donated 20 boxes filled from their (probably shared, probably super-sized) walk-in wardrobe to their local British Red Cross shop to raise money for the Philippines, and their items go on sale TODAY!
Grazia
reports that the couple have gifted “100 pairs of Victoria's heels, David's baseball caps, and a selection of Dolce & Gabbana suits.” While British Red Cross confirms that labels include Jimmy Choo and Roberto Cavalli. There’s no news on whether any of Posh Spice’s iconic LBDs or Becks’ briefs have made it to the charity shop, but you can bet we’ll be there to find out when their bounty goes on sale today at Kensington & Chelsea Red Cross.

British Red Cross Director of Fundraising, Mark Astarita, told Grazia the charity is “delighted” to have the famous couple’s support; “their generous donation will enable us to raise significant funds towards the enormous humanitarian operation currently underway: Providing survivors of Typhoon Haiyan with urgent shelter, medical equipment, food, and clean water.” He also hopes that others will use The Shop Drop for the Philippines to help raise money, “either by donating items or by shopping in one of our 330 shops across the U.K.” We don’t know about you but we will be first in line to shop the Beckham’s haute with heart when 69 Church Street opens its doors at 11 A.M. See you there – but hands off the his and hers leathers – they’re ours! (Grazia)
