VeganThe Winner: Crossroads
Offering Mediterranean-themed small plates, salads, desserts, and cocktails in a both stylish and refreshing atmosphere, Crossroads is a must-try destination whether you’re a vegan or not. Our suggestion? Try the Meaty Lasagna, Artichoke Oysters, Lentil Flatbread, or anything else on the menu for a meal you will not forget (probably because you’ll be back once a week!). Crossroads, 8284 Melrose Ave; 323-782-9245.
The Runners-Up: Café Gratitude
With the mission to create a menu and environment that supports health and sustainability for the community and the planet, Café Gratitude runs on the idea of “Sacred Commerce.” Each dish on the menu has a special name that correlates with a characteristic we are or want to be, including “I am Generous” (a Chipotle Butternut Squash quesadilla), “Transformed” (two organic corn tacos), and “Happy” (Mediterranean wrap with falafels). We are “Excited” to try the entire menu!
Café Gratitude, 639 N Larchmont Blvd; 323-580-6383.
