According to the latest issue of V Magazine, the 28-year-old Seydoux claims Kechiche also made demands about his leading ladies' beauty choices.
“There was no hair or makeup person on the set," the Prada Candy spokesmodel tells the magazine. "We weren’t allowed to wear makeup at all — so for continuity, we had to redo the blue color every day."
While Seydoux opted to have her hair cropped by a barber in Paris' 18th arrondissement, it was her own director who was often charged with dyeing her hair blue — in the bathtub of an apartment in Lille, no less.
So, is Kechiche a tyrant or simply a perfectionist? And, can you picture Woody Allen or Martin Scorsese ever reaching for the hair dye?
