Okay, this one is kind of strange. A new L.A. nail salon is taking manis and pedis outside the fairer-sex confines of traditional salons, and turning it male-centric. That's right — now your beau/brother/friend can have his hands and toes tended to without sticking out like a, well, sore thumb in a place full of women.
Complete with personal flat-screens and headphones, huge leather chairs, premium sports channels, and uber-masculine decor, West Hollywood's Hammer and Nails is California's first nail salon just for dudes. Services include all the things we ladies know well: nail trimming, filing, and shaping, as well as grooming, moisturizing, and massaging. Ahhhh.
Of course, this concept has been met with some controversy — remember when Jenna Lyons painted her son's toenails neon pink and sparked quite the debate? So, we're curious what you think. Will you be booking an appointment for the guy in your life?
