Apple Cider Meets Sangria In This Perfect Holiday Cocktail

Fact: We're those people who get excited about the holidays ridiculously far in advance every year. Magazines covered with delicious-looking turkeys in September, holiday decorations for sale in October — we're into it. So, when we spied this perfect-for-Thanksgiving cocktail recipe over on Style Within Reach, we immediately committed it to memory (by which we mean, we pinned the heck out of it). Apple cider spiked with pinot grigio and brandy, lightened up with club soda, and made pretty with apple slices and cranberries? Hello, holiday season in a glass! We would whip up a pitcher to complement a round of appetizers during a big gathering, or make a small batch to enjoy in front of the fireplace (or the space heater, if that's how you roll). Hey, even if the store aisles filled with stockings and gift wrap are making you a little manic right now, you gotta admit: Having an awesome holiday recipe under your belt puts you on top of the game — and Martha would approve.
