After successes like Juno and United States of Tara, it should come as no surprise that we're all ears whenever we hear of a new Diablo Cody project. And, the latest one promises not to disappoint.
Like her previous hits, her new TV show, Prodigy, will feature a strong female lead: a 16-year-old genius who wants to experience high school for the first time after being home schooled. Naturally, it won't be an easy ride — according to Deadline, the character will get caught up in all kinds of crazy predicaments. Fox has just picked up the series, which will be produced by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage of The O.C. fame. Our DVRs can hardly wait! (Jezebel)
