1. Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke à la the VMAs
Your look will say “I’m just being Miley,” with some nude-colored undergarments and a foam finger. Don’t forget to throw your hair into pigtail buns for the added touch.

2. Spring Breakers
Grab your besties and dare to bare it all in a bikini as you dress up as the hottest cast from the movie, Spring Breakers. Find a guy friend to go as the corn-row clad James Franco to really complete the costume.

3. JT and Jay Z
As long as you got your "Suit & Tie," your look will be the "Holy Grail" of all Halloween costumes.

4. Grumpy Cat
This is more than your average cat costume. Besides the cat ears and creative makeup, this costume comes down to practicing her infamous frown.

5. Emojis
Throw on a unitard, grab a blond wig, and you and a friend, are all set to be everyone’s favorite emoji — the dancing girls.

6. The cast of Girls
From Jessa’s bohemian look to Hannah’s charmingly disheveled style or Marni’s more polished shift dresses, you and your gang can dig through each other’s closets to create looks reflective of these modern TV icons.

7. Retro NBA player
Sportswear is huge in fashion right now so why not bring it into your Halloween costume, as well. Sport a vintage basketball jersey, short-shorts, and high-top sneakers to channel your own inner Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

8. French Macaron
We love eating them, but on October 31, opt for the calorie-free version. Spray paint two cardboard circles in your favorite pastel shade and attach them with ribbon shoulder straps. Complete the look with head to toe pastels and a beret for good measure.

9. Fashion blogger
Here is a way to be fashion forward this Halloween. Dress like the average fashion blogger. Think denim cutoffs, an outrageous pair of sunnies, a statement bag, and a top knot. Don’t forget your camera!

10. Cher Horowitz from Clueless
The ‘90s are back in a big way. Support the trend by going as everyone’s favorite teenage movie icon—Cher Horowitz. A personal favorite look is the plaid skirt with matching jacket and white knee highs. Nervous about nabbing that best-costume prize? As if!
