Kanye Melts Down On Twitter Over Jimmy Kimmel, Because Obviously

You must've seen this one coming. We mentioned last week that Kanye West sat down with BBC Radio 1 interviewer Zane Lowe and proclaimed that he is "the number-one rock star on the planet." So Jimmy Kimmel decided to have a little fun at the expense of Kanye's tireless bravado. For his late night show on Wednesday, he put together a little video featuring two small children reading the transcript from the interview. It wasn't very funny. And apparently Kanye didn't think so either.

It goes on, in all-caps and buffered by a Spongebob Squarepants image macro, as you can imagine. West called the late night host to demand a public apology before Kimmel's show yesterday. "And by the way, he told me on the phone," said Kimmel, "and I swear to God this is true, 'I am the most powerful voice in media. I am PAC.' He said 'PAC' a few times to me. I guess he means Tupac."
Could this be just a twerking-girl-on-fire-style setup for a possible performance by Kanye on Jimmy Kimmel? Maybe, maybe not. But as we all know, celebrities need to go to these ends to attract attention because they are like sharks: If they stop self-promoting, they die. (The Hollywood Reporter)
