Here's yet another addition for our ongoing manuscript, The Quotable Kanye. In a BBC Radio 1 interview set to air Monday, Kanye West remarkably outshines his infamous closing line from an interview with the New York Times: "I am the nucleus." Now, the Yeezus himself declares, "I'm the number-one rock star on the planet." The humble hip-hop star also reminds interviewer Zane Lowe that he couldn't be more gifted in just about everything. "Dark Fantasy could be considered to be perfect. I know how to make perfect," he says
Admittedly, all of these quotes are taken out of context from a 50-second trailer, and we won't get the full-tilt Kanye-crazy until next week. But who needs context? "People are going to look at this interview and say, 'Hey, I understand what he's talking about,'" he says. "People are gonna look at this interview and say, 'I don't like Kanye. He looks mad. I don't like his teeth.'" Perfect quote — and he knows how to make perfect. (Billboard)
