See How Your Favorite Designers Rate On Social Media

We don't know about you, but seeing our Twitter and Instagram feeds being overrun by snaps from Milan and Paris has us feeling some serious NYFW nostalgia. We might not be able to rewind the clock and do it all over again, but we can relive the magic. Social media played a huge part at the tents, and all of our favorite brands and It Girls stayed on top of the best shows and looks. Of course, not all Instagrams are created equal, and digital marketing firm Silverpop is now ranking the best designers on social media.
The study looked at a few different trends, from number of followers to how often a company posts. When it came to the most tweets sent out over #NYFW, DKNY took the top spot, followed by Betsey Johnson, Elie Tahari, and Diane von Furstenberg. As far as the Insta-game, Rebecca Minkoff posted the most snaps, along with DVF and Anna Sui. The study also found that several designers grew their fan bases in a major way during Fashion Week — mainly Calvin Klein and Michael Kors. While we still have a ways to go until next year's trip to Lincoln Center, at least we know where to keep our eyes peeled for all the best coverage and insider shots. And, of course, you can trust your editors here at R29 to keep you on top of everything.
