When Interview magazine decided to honor the modeling industry for its September issue, it skipped the new kids of the block and went right to the seasoned vets. In perfect casting, the seven covers of next month's magazine capture Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Amber Valletta, Stephanie Seymour, and Daria Werbowy sporting slicked locks, black clothing, and often, very little of 'em. The results? Gorgeous. Like, unquestionably, universally, inarguably gorgeous.
But, what we think is most special about Interview's choice of cover models is the range of ages. From 29 (Werbowy) to 48 (Evangelista), the models represent different generations — although you would never guess it — a mature view on the business of modeling and a real idea of what a long-standing, successful, and dynamic career in front of the camera looks like.
