We've been sitting on pins and needles waiting to see what Katy Perry would debut at the VMAs. And, while we're still anticipating her big ending performance, she treated audiences to quite the red-carpet surprise. That's right, the "Roar" singer took a page out of Miley Cyrus' book and rocked a full-on grill to the awards. And, naturally, she brought the major 'tude to go along with her new mouth accessory.
Check out our girl straight mean mugging for the camera, without a care in the world. Of course, she's not all hard, as she lost the metal mouth for her on-screen interviews — and, presumably, her big number. That said, we're all the more excited to see what she (and her stylist) come up with for the final act. We're not mind readers, but we have to think that this is all part of the new, harder Katy. Hear her roar.
