Rock On: Blondie’s Debbie Harry & NYC Punk Miss Guy Share A New Track

miss-guy-opPhotographed by Veronica Ibarra.
Gender-bending NYC rocker and DJ Miss Guy came up in the '90s punk world and toured with acts like Debbie Harry and Red Hot Chili Peppers as part of his band Toilet Böys. With shows marked by wild theatricality and outrageous antics (think confetti cannons, fire breathing, synchronized dancing, and more), the band made a name for itself as one of the most entertaining live acts of the time.
Now, Miss Guy is back with "God Save New York," featuring none other than Blondie's Debbie Harry herself as a guest star. With a propulsive guitar rhythm and sugary chorus that shares more than a little DNA with The Ramones, it's a vintage New York punk tune from two people who know the scene better than anyone. Listen to "God Save New York" below and Like Miss Guy's Facebook page for an exclusive download of the track.
