Marc Jacobs Debuts New Ads, We Swoon

So, remember a few days ago when we reported that Marc Jacobs Beauty had debuted a handful of products from the forthcoming line on Sephora.com? And how we predicted that there would be a virtual stampede, and the products would be quickly zilch? Well, we were right — every single one of the MJ Beauty products that were available online are now completely sold out. Womp, womp.

If you missed the buying frenzy, there is a consolation prize: The unveiling of one of the ads from the line's fall ad campaign, featuring model Edie Campbell and Ondrian Hardin all dolled up in Marc's super-glam primpers. Campbell sports a Margot-Tenenbaum-esque blue-and-purple smoky eye that we're dying to copy, while Hardin sports sparkling gold shadow and applies one of the line's much-buzzed-about black eyeliners.

Beauty geeks that we are, we're thrilled to see that the color payoff of the products is obviously super-bold (what else would we expect from the fabulously shameless Jacobs?). Color us even more excited for the line's official August 9th launch — 15 days and counting, y'all! (Fashion Copious)
