In bridal designer Sarah Seven’s fall '13 lookbook, southern belles get their chance to ring. This season, Seven drew her inspiration from vintage brides who walked down the aisle in the Crescent City. “I fell in love with New Orleans and its eclectic individuality, from its vintage European architecture to its effortless jazz-influenced coolness,” explains Seven, adding, “I wanted to channel a bygone era of sparkling excess without diverting too far from some of our favorite silhouettes."
To highlight her love for The Big Easy, she sent her shutterbug Rachel Konty there to snap the lookbook and capture a twinkling late-night wandering. And, the result has us looking to get dolled up with nowhere to go. The collection’s frocks are comprised of stunning beaded lace, flattering dropped waists, and glitzy gold and silver embellishments.
