With fireworks, sweet tunes, and perfect outfits to boot, we'd say that this year's July 4 is looking pretty stellar. And the fun can't start soon enough. Which is why we're excited to announce that R29 will be kicking the weekend off at Le Poisson Rouge on Wednesday night.
That's right, July's installation of LOCAL EMPIRE LIVE — a monthly event that showcases LOCAL EMPIRE's original sketch-comedy short films, a stand-up comedian, and a special guest interview — will cover a topic near and dear to our hearts, New York fashion. And who better to discuss the topic than our own New York editor, Annie Georgia Greenberg. In a sure-to-be-awesome conversation with the hilarious Dan Wilbur, Annie will be sharing her own interesting stories and perspectives about style, trends, and the fashion industry.

The show will also feature a short set from stand-up comedian Ari Shaffir as well as the full LOCAL EMPIRE episode. Start the weekend off early right, and don't miss out.
