For 135,000 people today, Monday blues have hit harder than ever as the long weekend of frolicking in a field at Worthy Farm has had to come to a sorry end. Yes, Glastonbury is over and the pain has hit home that there are 12 long months between us and the next legendary weekend of festival antics. Coined as “the greatest festival in the world," and with a ticket draw on par with Willy Wonka’s, it comes as no surprise that the Internet also gave way to a few bitter words over the weekend.
It’s fair to say Jagger took the brunt of the abuse. More than a few “pre-historic” jokes scored serial retweets, whilst the GIF world went crazy for his infamous “rock ‘n’ roll” facial expressions.

Next up, Wiley took a beating. FYI future artists, the Internet won’t forgive you for pulling out of a British festival due to “weather conditions.” This isn’t Coachella, buddy — rain is probable definite.
