Dear coral lipstick: we would like to nominate you as the most essential makeup product for summer. Even if you're simply stepping off the beach to head to the bar for happy hour, a swipe of this one super-bright product — and a tiny dab of it on your cheeks, just because — can light up your entire face and make you feel especially summer-ready (bring on the rum punch, are we right?).
The problem? Not all coral lipsticks are created equal, and since this shade is especially vibrant, it can veer on the side of garish if it's not the exact right hue for your skin tone. In Western cultures, we tend to avoid death at all costs. We avoid thinking about it and talking about it, and when faced with it, we often go to extraordinary measures to delay it. Photographer Cathrine Ertmann decided to confront death head-on. Her project "About Dying" is a "photo essay from the morgue" that "works as read
