WESTSIDE Deluxe Nail Spa Located a stone’s throw away from the beach, this Venice nail spot delivers a killer paint job and an ocean breeze. If that weren't enough, the rows of cushy, booth-like chairs have sheer curtains and plenty of comfy pillows to let you relax in privacy. We recommend booking an appointment for a gel manicure or grabbing the Monday-to-Thursday deal of $25 for both a mani and pedi. Now that's a sparkling steal! Deluxe Nail Spa, 2913 Main Street (near Nelson Way); 310-399-1942.

Montana Nails For a quick polish on the cheap, this is your go-to at only $29 for a mani and pedi. Drop-ins are welcome, and you'll be quickly ushered to a chair by the affable staff. The color selection is dependably stocked with our fave shades, and rumor has it that Sally Fields is a loyal customer, and well, whatever she likes, we like. Can you blame us? Montana Nails, 1411 Montana Avenue (near 14th Street); 310-393-5836.

Nite Spa The fact that an open-late spot as luxe as Nite Spa exists makes us kind of weak in the knees. Perfect for those long evenings at the office, this cozy Abbot Kinney paradise is open until 10 p.m. daily. Featuring a full menu of high-end beauty treatments, this haven is well worth the splurge. So, go on, treat yourself to a lavish manicure with organic, all-natural products. Our added suggestion: Grab your bestie and a glass of complimentary wine while you enjoy getting those digits pampered. Nite Spa, 490 Santa Clara Avenue (at Electric Avenue); 310-396-5122.

Lemon Nails and Spa This sunny Pacific Palisades beauty shop is a treat. We l-o-v-e to kick back and unwind in the cozy chairs with a weekly and watch our nails transform from meh to magnificent (with a little help from their specialty, a blended sea salt scrub). Lemon Nails and Spa scores extra points for being so close to one of our fave boutiques, Elyse Walker. Post-mani shopping trip, anyone? Don't mind if we do... Lemon Nails and Spa, 15314 Antioch Street (near Swathmore Avenue); 310-454-1822.

B&J Nails For a lighting fast but still top-quality job that’s also light on your wallet, mosey on over to B&J Nails to get your hands and toes sparkling in T-minus 30 minutes, for just a cool $15. With an awesome OPI selection and plenty of nail-art designs to pour over, you’ll blink and — poof! — score some fine-lookin' mitts. BEVERLY HILLS Bellacures Indulge in heavenly nail bliss at this Bev Hills spot, thanks to super comfy chairs, actual post-pedi sandals (definitely a luxury, but still!), and a seriously soothing massage, soak, and scrub. No wonder this is a go-to for discerning celebrities (Reese Witherspoon like the exfoliating walnut mani). Though, for all-out awesomeness, we suggest you indulge in the Hold My Hand Gelicure (it includes an organic sugar scrub packed with yummy lavender essential oils).
Bellacures, 239 North Robertson Boulevard (at Dayton Way); 310-550-5822.

Nails & More Nails & More is always stocked with the best colors (we’re talking Essie and OPI's current hits) and what’s more, these manicurists are total pros when it comes to creating showstopping nail-art masterpieces. For just $20, the mani and pedi combo will give you the biggest bang for your buck. Nails & More, 468 N Doheny Drive (at Melrose Avenue); 310-271-9800.

Nature's Nails This bright, super-clean nail studio is super accessible (you can almost always find parking right on Robertson) and boasts an impressive color and magazine selection (not a single wrinkly, month-old Us Weekly in sight!). Plus, Nature's Nails prides themselves on nixing any sort of harsh chemical in their treatments. And, extra points are earned for their melt-on-down massage chairs and the charming wooden barrels — filled with goodies like lemons and rose petals — to soak your tootsies in. Get ready to say aaah. Nature's Nails, 319 1/2 S Robertson Boulevard (at Gregory Way); 310-652-0828.

Romance Nail Spa This might not be Beverly Hills proper, but we think Romance Nail Spa is the best kept secret in Studio CIty. The A+ color selection, consistently uh-mazing service, and surprisingly gentle callus remover treatment (these things matter!) have us convinced that we’ve struck gold (or silver, or bronze — any sort of pretty metallic, really). If you’re tempted to take the acrylic route a la Lana Del Rey, there's no better place to take the plunge than at this no-fuss nail joint. Romance Nail Spa, 11274 Ventura Boulevard (near Vineland Avenue); 818-762-6181.

WEST HOLLYWOOD Pampered Hands
It's no wonder why Pampered Hands is where all the devout bi-weekly-mani gals go. You’re in and out of this nail oasis before you can say “French manicure,” and their gel treatments really stand up to all that incessant texting and typing (trust, we’ve tested!). From the manicurists' mean shaping skills to clean, white-leather massage chairs, this salon really brings the A-game. Bonus: This place is also great for birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, you name it. Pampered Hands, 7215 Melrose Avenue (at North Formosa Avenue); 323-937-4701.

Tina's Nails Along the hustle and bustle of 3rd Street in WeHo is the no-frills, functional and clean oasis of Tina’s Nails. The lovely staff will know your name by your second visit and treat you like a regular (which you're sure to become, by the way). Picky with your color preferences? No problem — any color or glitter combo you might want, they’ve got — and, oh yeah, you’ll leave with the softest hands and feet ever, too. (This place is cash only, but there's hardly room to complain considering their beyond reasonable prices.) Tina's Nails, 8371 West 3rd Street (near North Kings Road); 323-655-2999.

CT Nails #9 By David When it comes to nail-art clout in this town, CT Nails #9 on Santa Monica Boulevard has bragging rights to the moon and back again. Seriously, the sky is the limit here, so we suggest you think carefully before you get confused by the technician's supply of dope options. Each nail is treated as if it's the next mini Monet, and we’re always in awe of the artful end result. A long-lasting airbrush set is only $15, which makes the deal even sweeter! CT Nails #9 by David, 7854 Santa Monica Boulevard (near Fairfax Avenue); 323-654-9385.

EASTSIDE Diamond Nail This second-floor Hollywood salon has it all: Professional and clean service, minimal waits, 200+ polishes, and some great eyebrow waxing, to boot. Their pedicures will leave your feet baby’s-bottom smooth and all the sensibly priced services keep us coming back, time and time again. (Not to mention a celebrity sighting or two; we hear Dita Von Teese is a fan.) Diamond Nail, 7095 Hollywood Boulevard (at La Brea Avenue), Suite 201; 323-969-8760.

Marie Nails This secret spot for girls in the know is located in a Korean mall, and practically unrivaled for its fast and efficient gel manicures (and expert nail art, too). In our experience, a treatment at Marie Nails will stay chip-free for up to three whopping weeks. The franchise has locations all over L.A., but this is our #1 locale for its accessible parking. But, we still suggest booking an appointment in advance since their services are a hot commodity. Marie Nails, 928 South Western (at San Merino Street); 213-388-3227.

Beauty Box We can’t think of a better way to unwind on a Sunday than by making a stop at this Echo Park salon for a top-notch Shellac service or a classic, pretty-as-can-be mani and pedi (which are whirl-pool free, by the way, as they use modern foot bowls which can be more hygienic). The technicians take the time to make sure your hands polished beauts before you waltz out the door — plus, the exfoliating almond scrub is to die for. Bonus: Beauty Box also doubles as a chic hair salon, so you can go double duty here. Beauty Box, 1498 West Sunset Boulevard (near Echo Park Avenue); 213-250-1515.

Gloss NailSpa If you can't tell by now, we take nail art very seriously, which is why we're giving top dog to the genius ladies at this intimate salon in Silver Lake. With treatments like paraffin, hot oil and a mean massage too, you're in seriously good hands, especially when all metal tools and professionally-sterilized and sealed in individual-use pouches. Plus, the super-cool, black-and-red space is always playing our fave jams… can you blame us for wiggling our freshly painted toes?
Gloss NailSpa, 2911 West Sunset Boulevard (at Parkman Avenue); 323-669-3977.
