Remember when you stopped believing in Santa Claus? This is worse. Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, whom we always assumed were actual robots and/or aliens posing as Frenchmen, have been photographed without their signature helmets on and it appears they are human.
Of course, it's not the first time, by any means. There are plenty of photos out there — but they're either vague, obscured, or very dated. And even having seen them before, this photo was enough to jolt us out of our morning caffeine high.
The photo was posted on Facebook by The Knocks, also on the Sony label with the dynamic duo. Of course, it was promptly deleted, but that's what screenshots are for! It goes without saying that we're shocked, appalled, psyched, heartbroken, elated, pretty much feeling all emotions, ever. This is like seeing Darth Vader without his mask, except...no, actually, it's exactly like that.
