    The cream of New York's creative crop gathered at the Lexington Avenue Armory last night for the launch of the new Versus Versace line. The Diane Kruger-approved diffusion label is taking a rebellious turn into iconic fashion that fearlessly defies seasonality. No surprise, everybody wanted a first look.

    Featuring a visible backstage area complete with two-way mirrors and musical performances sprinkled throughout, the event turned the traditional fashion show on its head. The runway — which included the much anticipated J.W. Anderson capsule collection — gradually transformed into a full-on party, with musical score by DJ Maxwell. We danced the night away and are happy to say (again), Donatella knows how to throw a party.
