Andrea Linett’s Things-You-Need-Right-Now List

One of the co-founders of Lucky magazine and its former creative director, Andrea Linett, has helped us develop and celebrate our obsession with shopping, taking it from a hobby to a lifestyle. Currently, as a creative director and the author of the book I Want To Be Her!, Linett's now taken the time to indulge us in a little shopping eye candy each month with the six items she craving.
When it comes to shopping, there’s always something I just got or something I know I need. Right now, I’m inspired by the weather and a little bit by Lauren Hutton in the '70s. Here’s a roundup of my latest obsessions…

Chantecaille Bronzer — My dear friend, makeup artist Melissa Rogers, texted me that I needed this, so of course I immediately ran out and got it. It’s a gel, but you put it on with a brush. It looks scary at first but then it settles in and truly has the most natural, dewy-looking finish.

Chantecaille Radiance Gel Bronzer, $54, available at Space NK.

Key Charm — I just did a shoot with this awesome company and fell in love with the little house key sprinkled with diamonds. I’m going to add it to my charm repertoire.

Sydney Evan Yellow-Gold & Diamond Mini Key Necklace, $550, available at Sydney Evan.

January Labs Glow And Go — I am obsessed with this stuff. It’s made with cinnamon and kind of burns when it goes on, and you’re all rosy and glowy when you take it off. Just don’t do it in front of anyone you want to impress, because it dries into prosthetic-looking, old-person movie makeup!

January Labs "Glow and Go" Power Peel Exfoliant, $75, available at January Labs.

Andrea Jacket — I love a good army-ish, safari-esque jacket, and this one reminds me of old YSL. And the name kind of rocks, too (heh heh).

Club Monaco Andrea Jacket, $229, available at Club Monaco.

Jellies — When I was about 11, I thought I’d die if I didn’t own my own cute plastic fisherman sandals. These remind me of my first pair, but have a little nail-polish-y sparkle, which of course makes them even more fun.

Juju Maxi Jelly Sandals, $30, available at American Apparel.

Cosabella Bellissima Bra — I was just discussing with my husband how much I hate those molded padded bras that everyone wears — they make such a weird and unnatural silhouette. I am crazy about these because they’re soft but have a wire for support. And they’re super plungy, which makes them perfect under low-buttoned shirts.

Cosabella Bellissima Underwire Bra, $96.50, available at Cosabella.
