Real Men Eat Brogurt, If By Real Men You Mean...Gross

It's a good thing that advertising majors require a course in gender studies — otherwise, how else would all the smart, marketing geniuses of the world know how to reinforce stereotypical gender roles and keep the so-called battle of the sexes waging forever and ever? The latest installment in this inspiring, definintely not enraging at all saga, is Brogurt. It's yogurt, for bros.
Defined simply as "powerful," and guaranteed to help you "find your inner abs," Brogurt is, in a word, ridiculous. Then again, we can't exactly blame the people who came up with this idea. In and of itself, yogurt is a healthy and tasty snack that's suitable for almost anyone. But other yogurt brands have been marketed to death under the idea that women need something dainty and delicious, packaged in pink, and feminine to the point of being terribly prissy. The brand proclaims itself "a new Greek yogurt specifically suited to address the unique health and nutrition needs of the most neglected consumers in the category: men." Everyone knows women be shopping, but now, we can all spend some extra money for the sake of the same ol' product with different packaging! That's equality, folks.
