According to Lifehacker, January is the best time to get your hands on leftover stock from the holiday rush, particularly winter coats and clothing. The selection may not be the best, but you're more likely to snag a deal.
And who wants to tie the knot during a Nor’easter or the winter thaw? For that reason, experts say that January, February, and March are the best months to buy wedding supplies and negotiate prices for venues, depending on the location. If you want to get married on the cheap, consider having — or, at least, preparing for — your ceremony during winter months.
