A New Kind Of Party Pants: Can Fashion Predict Election Results?

PNT_WC_Critter_Election_Elephantsslide
We don't need to tell you that some people in D.C. wear their partisanship on their sleeves — but now, just in time for election season, they can also wear it on their pants. Men's clothing line Bonobos, known for its variety of chinos in eye-popping hues (and those intensely printed linings) is hardly a stranger to "statement trouser." Starting in September, the brand will be selling political party-themed chinos. That's right — critter pants (cue the collective groan) with a message.
The $128 pants are available in two options: navy embellished with GOP elephants, or charcoal gray with Democratic donkeys. On Bonobos' web site, you can track the sales of each motif, just in case you're looking for yet another pre-election predictor. These party pants seem like a perfect fit for anyone out canvassing neighborhoods this season — at the very least, these will let your guy show his support publicly (unlike some other election-themed gear we've seen).
