To the extent that you do have gentle lines on your face — and after all that exfoliating you do, we're sure there aren't many — the cosmetics industry would prefer that you bury them under mounds and mounds of their pricy products. But then again, perhaps signs of age are something to be appreciated, celebrated, and, heck, maybe even accessorized.
That's the concept behind the work of Israel's Bezalel Academy art student Noa Zilberman, who's crafted a one-off series of jewelry that emphasizes and accentuates the fines lines and wrinkles on her face.
Filled with crafty, golden embellishments that trace what the years have left on her brow, neck, eyes, and cleavage, the collection isn't for sale (and is almost impossible to wear). Nonetheless, we have to admit we dig how it takes what so many women are taught to fear and treats it with a certain elegant reverence — so much so that we'd love to have a couple of her designs custom made for our faces.
