CFDA Nominees: Proenza Schouler, Suno, Garance... And Johnny Depp?

Fashion's version of the Oscars, The Council of Fashion Designers of America awards (CFDA), revealed their nominees and honorees yesterday. First "eee!" moment? Seth Myers will host the awards on June 4 (Eeee!). Second moment? Well, the nominees themselves, which — for the most part — are all designers we love and really want to see win, like Jack McCoullough and Lazaro Hernandez for Proenza Schouler, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, Reed Krakoff, Creatures of the Wind, Altuzarra, Suno….shall we go on? Third "eee!" moment goes to the Media Award's honorees, Scott Schuman and Garance Dore. We also are awarding one "eeeh?" moment to the Fashion Icon Award recipient, Johnny Depp, because...fedoras and purple-tinted Wayfarers? Pass. The full list of nominees and honorees, below:
