The Spot: Good Units
We pretty much thought the Hudson Hotel was kinda beat until they threw us a curve-ball with this new space in their sub-basement. Swim Fan meets high-school gym in the former pool area of the 1930s YMCA. Plus, they pretty much scored the mother-load with Interview's 40th anniversary blowout. Mary Kate Olsen, Daphne Guiness, and Chloë Sevigny have already made cameos. And, of course, Jeremy Scott is getting dirty with his after-party there later in the week. Extra loving for the cutest bartender we've seen all year.

The Spot: Standard Pool
Really? How much more fabulous can The Standard get? First came The Grille, then the Boom Boom Room, now André Balazs throws in a pool, making us loathe our 350-square-foot apartment even more. Designers like Chris Benz, Vena Cava, and Shipley and Halmos got wet Tuesday night for Full Frontal Fashion's Catwalk Countdown.

The Spot: Surf Lodge
Surfers are ditching their wet-suits for Lanvin skinny-suits at the Manhattan pop-up of our favorite Montauk chill-out spot. Look for magnums of Belvedere on top all day at this Robert McKinley (the brain behind Good Units) hot-spot at Milk Studios. Even the waiters are cooler than us--they'll be sporting the Loomstate/Surf Lodge collection designed by Rogan Gregory set to hit your local Bloomie's in April.

The Spot: Kenmare
This spot is so under-wraps it makes the Pentagon look like a Holiday Inn. The chicer-than-thou brainchild of DJ Paul Sevigny and Nur Khan (uh, Rose Bar) denies it will be anything like Sevigny's former jam, Beatrice. According to Vogue, sister Chloë Sevigny will be planning the uniforms. And it makes perfect sense that Prabal Gurung and Proenza Schouler will be getting tipsy with some fierce fêtes here, too.

The Spot: The Mark
The Jacques Grange-designed hotel has been undergoing slow modifications for years now to transform the '30s landmark into a bastion of uptown edge that boasts a Frederic Fekkai salon, Turnbull & Asser uniforms, and Todd Eberle photos. So, it's only fitting that Jean Georges Vongerichten would helm the Mark Restaurant, designed by Guy de Rougemont with a glass roof and velvet chairs. Vanessa Paradis ushered in a new era of UES cool when she hosted the Chanel dinner with guests like Kate Bosworth, Amy Astley, and Heidi Mount.
