Is This The Perfect Job-Interview Outfit?

We here at R29 HQ are lucky in that we don't have to adhere to a standard office dress code. Business attire seems beside the point when you're sitting next to an editor clad in black jeans, calf-hair slip-ons, and a short-sleeve sweatshirt with leather paneling. (Hi, Bobby!) But hey, we're not so out-of-touch that we've forgotten about the two-piece suit altogether. We can recognize and appreciate a solid blazer-and-pant set when we see one. Which brings us to the matter at hand: Reformation's first-ever suiting collection.
Made with the 9-to-5 lady in mind, the debut marks the label's foray into workwear — a pretty killer (and, dare we say, sexy) one, at that. It features three crowd-pleasing shades — black, ivory, and a subtle tomato red — that cater to a structured atmosphere, but aren't so stuffy that they can't transition to after-hours cocktails. The jackets are both single- and double-breasted, and the trousers flare to varying degrees. Think '70s Bianca Jagger.
We've come to rely on Reformation for its seemingly endless stock of romantic, date-night maxi-dresses, as well as '90s-inspired miniskirts and crop tops. Now, there's even more to love. Priced from $138 to $308, the inaugural seven-piece line is a far cry from the boxy styles you're used to. And, it can become a welcome addition to any woman's closet — desk job or not.
