Sunshine, minimal fabrics and rockin’ hot models: This is what Mercedes-Benz Swim Week — the Holy Grail of all that is beach-appropriate — is all about. And while we’re still in the midst of this year's steamy summer, we can’t help but rave about next season. With Mara Hoffman doing tribal prints and Cia Maritima using gauzy fabrics for wraps, prints and brights made their presence known on the runway. Bright solids and the bustier forms popped up at shows like Nicolita and Poko Pano. And, southwestern-influenced swimwear was just as present as whites (which is the must-have color next season). While the bikinis looked great on the runways, we can’t help but count down the days until we can snatch these beachy beauties for ourselves.
