In the foreword to Sewn From the Soul, an online editorial project from Street Etiquette, Joe-Kenneth Museau writes that black men can "adroitly craft our future with needle and thread, and surpass the statistic of 'at 25 dead.' " We can't think of a better way to commemorate Black History Month than to feature these seven friends who came together to honor great black Americans who happened to have amazing style, such as singer Nat "King" Cole and barrier-breaking photographer Gordon Parks. Check out the full story at Street Etiquette, which features vignettes about each subject and more adorable shots of Joshua Kissi's exceptionally dandy nephew.
